Early Morning Violence Near Downtown Vancouver Leaves One Man Dead

    Vancouver has recorded its 14th homicide of 2015.
     
    Const. Brian Montague confirms an unidentified man was found unconscious and covered in blood not far from the city's bus station.
     
    Police were called at around 3:30 a.m. (to Station Street near National Avenue) and the victim was rushed to hospital but could not be revived.
     
     
    Montague says detectives with the major crimes section believe the man was involved in some sort of dispute in a nearby rooming house and the altercation continued on the street.
     
    Several people have been taken into custody and are being interviewed.
     
    Police aren't saying how the man died, if any suspects have been identified or if there's an obvious motive for the attack.
