At approximately 2:50 a.m., RCMP responded to a report of a man being shot in the area of King George Boulevard and 108 Avenue.

Police say in a news release that the victim was hit in the abdomen by a single bullet while walking with another man, who was not hurt.

Officers say both men are known to them.
