Police in Surrey say one man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after an early morning shooting in the Newton area.
R-C-M-P say officers got the call at around 5:30 a-m about a man suffering from a gunshot wound in a parking lot on 122nd Street near 72nd Avenue.
They say investigators are still gathering evidence, but it appears the shooting was a targeted, isolated incident.
The Mounties asking anyone with information, including dash-camera footage from the time of the shooting, to contact them.
