This is the weekend most of the country goes back to standard time, and people wrestle with changing the clocks on their microwaves, cars and ovens.

Happily, a lot of devices re-set themselves -- making it easier to know what time it really is when you wake up on Sunday morning.

Many people are already sleep-deprived, and sleep researcher Dr. Phyllis Zee says just a one-hour change can affect your ability to multi-task, stay alert, and even maintain your balance.

Prabjot Singh Wirring had argued the portion of the oath mandated by the Legal Profession Act that includes pledging allegiance to the sovereign violates his Charter rights to religious freedom and equality. Wirring, who is an Amritkhari Sikh, said he is only allowed to pledge allegiance to a divine being in the Sikh tradition and not Queen Elizabeth, who was the reigning monarch at the time his suit was filed.
