This is the weekend most of the country goes back to standard time, and people wrestle with changing the clocks on their microwaves, cars and ovens.

Happily, a lot of devices re-set themselves -- making it easier to know what time it really is when you wake up on Sunday morning.

Many people are already sleep-deprived, and sleep researcher Dr. Phyllis Zee says just a one-hour change can affect your ability to multi-task, stay alert, and even maintain your balance.

Vancouver police say officers responded to more than one-thousand-600 incidents over the weekend, fuelled in part by multiple demonstrations across the city. Sergeant Steve Addison says recent geopolitical events have driven the protests, and police will continue to deploy extra officers to manage the situations as they arise.
