A recent traffic stop led to a drug seizure in Kelowna.

R-C-M-P say they were patrolling an area known for drug trafficking on June 2nd when they pulled over a vehicle for a number of traffic violations.

During the stop police say officers seized suspected cocaine and fentanyl along with a knife and a wallet with a large wad of cash that fell out of the car.

They say the vehicle was impounded and the driver faces possible trafficking charges pending lab testing.
