Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 31 Oct, 2024 11:13 AM
  • Drug seizure at a Langford home

Police on Vancouver Island say a search of a home in Langford earlier this month netted a haul of drugs, cash and weapons including a pair of nunchucks.

West Shore R-C-M-P say officers from multiple units searched the home due to suspected drug trafficking activity on October 11th.

Mounties say the search turned up more than 500 grams of suspected cocaine, more than 100 grams of methamphetamine, and smaller quantities of other substances including ketamine and M-D-M-A, along with 150 hydromorphone pills.

Police say they also seized three conductive-energy weapons and a pair of nunchucks -- both of which are prohibited weapons -- as well as 15-hundred-dollars in cash and drug packaging materials.
