Victoria police say they are looking for a driver who allegedly spat on a cyclist and struck them with their vehicle. 

They say the cyclist was at an intersection the afternoon of March 17th when the driver of a black S-U-V spat at them through their open window.

Police say the cyclist confronted the driver when they met again at another intersection where cyclist was struck by the vehicle and knocked off their bike.  

Victoria police say the S-U-V is described as a 2010-2014 model with B-C Parks license plates and pre-existing damage to the driver’s side door.

Police in Vancouver say a 37-year-old man has been charged over accusations he robbed a blind, homeless man of his cane earlier this week. They say the victim is a 40-year-old newcomer to Canada who is legally blind and has been sleeping in shelters for the past few weeks.
