The Canadian Press, 10 May, 2016 10:53 AM
Surrey RCMP say one man suffered minor injuries following the latest shooting in Surrey’s Newton neighbourhood.

The incident happened at around 7:45 last night near 72nd Avenue at 151 Street and the shots were fired from one vehicle at a second.

Police quickly located the damaged car and found a man inside with cuts from the flying glass, but the suspect vehicle fled and hasn't been found.

Mounties haven't offered a possible motive for the attack, but urge anyone with information to come forward.

They are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or, if they wish to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or www.solvecrime.ca.
