Delta Police Take To The Streets During The Holiday Season

The Canadian Press, 16 Nov, 2016 12:45 PM
The Delta Police continue to make road safety a priority and are taking to the streets conducting counter attack roadblocks over the next several weeks as we come into the Holiday Season.

Although police will be conducting roadblocks to detect drinking and driving offences, we will also be targeting  speeding & seatbelt violations as well as other traffic offences.

The Delta Police would like to take this opportunity to ask for the cooperation of all motorists to drive attentively and responsibly.

If you choose to consume liquor at a party or special holiday gathering, please make prior arrangements for your transportation to and from the event. A temporary lapse in judgement can have life changing consequences.

The Delta Police encourage everyone to celebrate responsibly, so we can all enjoy a safe and happy Holiday Season!
