Delta Police Seek Witnesses To Fatal Collision Between Dump Truck And Vehicle

    On July 6, 2016 at around 9am, Delta Police responded to a collision between a tandem dump truck and a passenger vehicle.  
     
    As a result of the collision, the dump truck and the vehicle, a black Pontiac Sunfire, ended up in the ditch.
     
    Tragically, the passenger of the vehicle, a 17 year old boy from Langley, died at scene as a result of his injuries.  The driver of the passenger vehicle, a 23 year old female – also from Langley – was transported to hospital with serious injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.
     
    As part of the investigation, Delta Police Traffic Section investigators would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the events leading up to it.
