Delta Police Investigating Surrey's Missing Person Case Find Human Remains

    DELTA, B.C. — Police investigating a missing person case in Delta, B.C., have found human remains.
     
    Officers found the remains Thursday at an unoccupied residence on the Tsawwassen First Nation.
     
    Acting Sgt. Sarah Swallow says the investigation into a missing a 33-year-old man from nearby Surrey lead them to the property.
     

    Police have been looking for the missing man since Feb. 24.
     
    Police say a detailed forensic analysis will be needed to confirm the person's identity and the cause of death.
     
    The force is treating the investigation as suspicious.
