  • Delta crash closes Highway 17

Delta Police say four people were injured and Highway 17 was closed for several hours after a serious crash involving three vehicles yesterday evening.

They say a vehicle hit a concrete median and rolled over, striking a second vehicle.

Police say the crash shifted the concrete barrier, which hit the third vehicle.

Three of the four people injured in the crash have since been released, while one is being treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
