Death Of Man Found In Maple Ridge, B.C., Appears Targeted: Police

    VANCOUVER — Police are investigating after a man's body was found in Maple Ridge, B.C.
     
    Homicide investigators say the 53-year-old's body was found on Tuesday  near the 28800 block of Lougheed Highway around 10 a.m. PT.
     
    The man's identity has not been released because police say his family has not yet been informed.
     
    Police first became aware of the incident after Ridge Meadows RCMP were called to a property
     
    An RCMP spokesperson said that "obviously some foul play is suspected," but wouldn't elaborate.
     
    Police say it appears the man was targeted, but his death wasn't related to gang activity.
