Dark, Rainy Conditions Before Serious Langley Crash That Injured Driver: Police

The Canadian Press, 02 Dec, 2015 11:26 AM
LANGLEY, B.C. — A 21-year-old driver could face charges after a serious crash in Langley, B.C.

RCMP say an eastbound Toyota Tacoma collided with a northbound Subaru Impreza just before 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Witnesses report the light was green for the northbound Subaru when the crash occurred.

Officers also say it was raining heavily at the time and the intersection was very dark.

The lone driver of the Subaru had to be airlifted to the nearest hospital and Cpl. Holly Largy says he is now listed in stable condition, while the driver of the Tacoma was treated for minor injuries.

Largy says an investigation is continuing and charges could be considered against the young driver of the Toyota.
