Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 30 Mar, 2016 01:27 PM
HALIFAX — A medical student accused of murdering a fellow Dalhousie University student has been ordered to stand trial.

William Sandeson is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 22-year-old Taylor Samson, whose body has not been found.

The charge against Sandeson was laid Aug. 20, four days after Samson was reported missing in Halifax.

Police have said the two men knew each other.

On Tuesday, Judge Anne Derrick committed Sandeson to stand trial after a preliminary inquiry that began in February and wrapped up earlier this month.

Sandeson is scheduled to appear in Nova Scotia Supreme Court next month to set trial dates.
