Police in Vancouver are investigating after a cyclist was killed after being hit by a five-tonne delivery truck.
Police say the man in his 60s was hit near Kingsway and Nanaimo Street just before 12:30 p-m and died at the scene.
They say the driver of the truck remained on-site.
Anyone with information is being asked to call the department’s collision investigation unit.
The Parole Board of Canada has granted another six months of day parole to the woman who beat and drowned 14-year-old Reena Virk with an accomplice in 1997. Kerry Sim, formerly Kelly Ellard, has been allowed day parole regularly since 2017 and the latest decision says she has displayed "stable and cooperative" behaviour.
