Police in Vancouver are investigating after a cyclist was killed after being hit by a five-tonne delivery truck.

Police say the man in his 60s was hit near Kingsway and Nanaimo Street just before 12:30 p-m and died at the scene.

They say the driver of the truck remained on-site.

Anyone with information is being asked to call the department’s collision investigation unit.
