Police are asking for the public's help in reuniting cremated remains with the rightful guardian.
Mounties in Richmond say someone left a package at the outbound international screening checkpoint at Vancouver International Airport on November 27th.
They say officers examined the package and found it contains cremated remains.
The R-C-M-P say they've been unable to locate the owner, and they're asking anyone with information to contact them.
Metro Vancouver says an acrid odour that blanketed parts of the region on Sunday contained elevated contaminant levels, but didn't breach pollution standards. B.C.'s police complaint commissioner has ordered a review of the discipline handed out to an officer over sexual misconduct claims, saying the punishment didn't fit the seriousness of the sexual allegations that were "predatory in nature." The matter was investigated by the Vancouver Police Department, which found the officer committed two instances of discreditable conduct.
