Coquitlam Police Seeking Witnesses To An Interrupted Break And Enter To A Home

    Coquitlam –On Friday, February 9th, at 8:23 p.m. the Coquitlam RCMP were called to a home in the 600 block of Poirier St. for a report of an interrupted break and enter.
     
     
    According to statements already obtained from victims and witnesses, three men allegedly attempted to break in to the home while the residents were inside. The residents attempted to stop the suspects from entering the home, were assaulted by the suspects, and sustained minor injuries. The suspects fled in a waiting vehicle.
     
     
    While the investigation is still in the early stages, at this point investigators do not believe the incident was targeted. And, while officers have canvassed the neighbourhood and spoken with multiple witnesses in the immediate area, they are encouraging anyone who has not already spoken with police and has more information to contact the Investigation Support Team at 604-945-1550 quoting file # 2018-4300.
