Comox Valley RCMP Temporarily Suspending Civilian Fingerprinting

    As of March 17, 2020 the Comox Valley RCMP will not be offering fingerprinting services for civilians. This includes people who wish to be fingerprinted for the following purposes:


    Employment

    Volunteer

    Security Clearances / Licensing

    Foreign Travel (Visa Requirements)

    Immigration

    Name Changes

    Citizenship

    Adoption

    Cannabis Licensing


    Residents of the Comox Valley who need to obtain fingerprints for criminal court purposes are still required to attend the Detachment.


    If you wish to report a non-emergency matter and are experiencing any flu-like symptoms, please do not attend the Comox Valley RCMP Detachment and call (250) 338-1321.
