Classified Ad Seeking To Connect BC Woman With Father Who Doesn't Know She Exists

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 05 Jan, 2016 12:40 PM
CALGARY — A British Columbia woman has turned to classified ads in an attempt to connect her half-sister with a father who doesn't know she exists.

Toni Rempel is looking for a man named Gary who was in Regina on business in 1969.

She says her mother had a fling with the man who was based in Calgary but flew to Regina as part of his job as a pharmaceutical representative.

Rempel says her mother, who can't remember Gary's last name, never told him she was pregnant.

Now she is hoping to find him so her sister Bonnie, who is now a doctor in California, can know her father.

Rempel says her grandparents adopted Bonnie and until she was 12 had believed she was her aunt.
