Chilliwack Man Charged With Sex Assault, Child Pornography Offences

    A man is charged with child sexual assault and pornography offences following a one year RCMP investigation.


    Robert Wayne Calvert was arrested June 19, 2019 and has been charged with allegations dating from January 2015 to January 2018, including:


    3 counts of sexual interference.

    3 counts of sexual assault.

    1 count of invitation to sexual touching.

    2 counts of make child pornography.

    1 count of distribute child pornography.

    1 count of access child pornography.

    1 count of possession of child pornography.


    Mr. Calvert has resided in communities around the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island regions, says Constable Blaine Wiese of the Chilliwack RCMP. We are asking anyone who feels they have information regarding our investigation to contact the Chilliwack RCMP or your local police agency.
