Police in North Vancouver are looking for witnesses after a child reported being approached by a stranger driving a truck.
The Mounties say it happened early afternoon near West 13th Street and Mahon Avenue as a 10-year-old boy was walking along the street.
They say a white truck drove by the boy before its passenger asked the child if he wanted candy.
The child ran away and told his parents and police are asking anyone with information to contact them
Inappropriate social media activity has cost Dr. Sanjiv Gandhi his job as deputy leader of the BC Green Party and he's also resigned as a Green candidate in the 2024 provincial election. A new report shows Metro Vancouver's living wage has increased to 25-dollars and 68 cents per hour this year. That amount reported by the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives B-C Office and Living Wage for Families B-C represents a six per cent rise from the previous year.
