RCMP: Child Luring Charges Laid Against Two Delta Men

The Canadian Press Darpan, 15 Aug, 2014 03:01 PM
SURREY, B.C. - Child luring charges have been laid against two men from Delta, B.C., and Mounties say they're looking for more possible victims.

RCMP say 24-year-old John Wells was arrested on Wednesday and charged with five counts of luring a child and one count of invitation to sexual touching.

Kelly Pearson, who is also 24, faces three counts of invitation to sexual touching, one count of sexual interference, and one count of possession of child pornography.

Both men have been released from custody on the condition they don't contact their victims or anyone under 16 and don't access the Internet.

RCMP allege the offences occurred online and at a paintball field in Surrey, B.C., where the men regularly played in a league.

Police say they have identified some victims of both men and but believe there may be further victim and witnesses they're asking to come forward.
