Charges laid in White Rock man's shooting

Charges have now been laid in the fatal April 2022 shooting of 33-year-old White Rock resident David Goldstein.

At the time of his death, police said the shooting -- at a south Surrey home -- did not appear random, but was not linked to the ongoing Metro Vancouver gang conflict.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says Bryce Dallas Campbell -- who is in his late 20s, has been charged with first-degree murder.

Court documents show Campbell is scheduled to return to court in Surrey next Thursday.

The Mounties say the registrar of firearms immediately froze records relating to the 245 prohibited guns upon discovery of the issue to prevent further sale or transfer of the firearms.
