Police in Abbotsford have charged a 46-year-old local man in relation to a homicide in the city earlier this week.

Abbotsford Police say Chancal Badwal was arrested after evidence obtained at the scene of the crime on July 18th led investigators to the suspect.

Sixty-two-year-old Imtiaz Hussain of Abbotsford was found dead in the 31-thousand block of Madiera Place in Abbotsford on that day.

Investigators say the incident is isolated and the two men knew each other.
