Liberal leadership candidates Mark Carney and Chandra Arya have submitted their paperwork to enter the race ahead of tomorrow's deadline.
The two appear to be the first through that gate, submitting the required signatures and a $50,000 deposit.
If you want to vote, you need to be a registered Liberal by January 27th.

I just submitted my application package to the Leadership Committee of the Liberal Party of Canada.

Hopefully, it will be processed within a day or two and then forwarded to Elections Canada to officially declare me as a candidate for the Leadership Contest. https://t.co/k1V3YU9X48
Candidates have until Thursday at 5 p.m. to get their deposit in, along with a written nomination with signatures of 300 registered Liberals.
Karina Gould is planning on getting her papers and deposit in by the deadline, while Chrystia Freeland's campaign did not respond to inquiries.
Two more candidates also declared their intention to enter the race today, including former Brampton MP Ruby Dhalla.
Also in the race now is Michael Clark, a self-described Christian community organizer and businessman who is campaigning to "make the party pro-life."
