The Canadian Press, 08 Jul, 2015 11:38 AM
VANCOUVER — An adventure tour in Nunavut to view migrating caribou is among the latest additions to the list of "Canadian Signature Experiences" promoted internationally.

The tour is offered by Arctic Haven Wilderness Adventures on Ennadai Lake, 700 kilometres east of Yellowknife.

Large numbers of caribou move north through the area each spring to calving grounds. Tour details are at http://bit.ly/1JP9Gqe.

    The other additions:

    — Copper Cayuse Outfitters in Pemberton, B.C., offers a three-day horseback expedition exploring the province's gold-mining past. http://bit.ly/1J4kY4a

    — Canmore Cave Tours in Canmore, Alta., takes visitors into Rat's Nest Cave, a provincial historic site that lies under Grotto Mountain. http://bit.ly/1Tlv5cg

The Signature collection now comprises 128 "once-in-a-lifetime travel experiences found only in Canada," says Destination Canada, the country's national tourism marketing organization.
