In a second serious crash at a Surrey bus stop in two days, a man was sent to hospital in serious condition after a white Corvette jumped the curb at a bus shelter in the 9600-block of King George Blvd.
The victim was sitting on a bench at the bus stop when speeding car lost control, jumped the curb and slammed into the bus shelter around 6:15 p.m. Thursday night.
The the bus shelter was almost destroyed and the passenger in the car was also hurt in the accident. He is being treated for injuries not considered to be serious.

Police tell that Corvette driver jumped into a taxi after the collision and was eventually arrested near Bear Creek Park
RCMP also say alcohol may be a factor in the crash.
Several kilometres away on Wednesday, a Jeep jumped the curb at Fraser Highway and 156 Street and struck Evan Archibald, 22, who was sitting on a bench at the bus stop.

He died after the accident.
