Canadian Man Faces Multiple 'Brutal Sexual Assault' Charges In Denver

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 28 Mar, 2016 10:18 AM
A Canadian has been charged with sexual assault in Denver in connection with an allegation from a woman.

A news release from the Denver District Attorney's office says 30-year-old Colby James Messer has been charged with six counts of sexual assault.

The release alleges Messer was visiting Denver with several friends in November 2015, when he met the complainant at a bar.

The 27-year-old woman was allegedly taken back to a hotel room and repeatedly sexually assaulted.

The release says Denver police identified several Canadians suspects connected with the assault, all of whom had returned to Canada.

Messer was arrested when he arrived in Las Vegas on March 4, and appeared in court in Denver last week.
