Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 29-year-old Jonathan Cardinal, a federal sex offender, after he failed to return to his halfway house in Vancouver on July 2.

Cardinal is considered a high-risk sex offender. He is currently serving a long-term supervisory order following two violent sexual assaults in 2010. Cardinal is bound by several conditions including a curfew. Corrections Canada has now issued a Canada-wide warrant for his arrest.
