The Vancouver International Airport says it’s gearing up for a busy long weekend by launching a new tool to help travellers get to their gate on time.
The #BCDay long weekend is here and it's going to be a busy one at YVR. We're excited to welcome more than 300,000 people from Friday to Monday. Have your travel tech ready, plan for parking in advance and book your security screening time with YVR Express. Safe travels! pic.twitter.com/QxtAiz25ke

A new Q-R code called Y-V-R TimeLine allows travellers to check if they are at risk of missing their plane by entering their flight number.
Y-V-R says if the system identifies someone might miss their flight, they will be fast-tracked through security.
It's anticipated more than 318-thousand passengers will fly into and out of the airport from today until Monday.
