Burned Out Vehicle Connected To Surrey, B.C. Stabbing Is Found

The Canadian Press, 13 Aug, 2018 10:46 AM
SURREY, B.C. — Homicide investigators in British Columbia say a vehicle related to the stabbing death of 20-year old Leonardo Ngo in Surrey has been found.

Police say Burnaby Mounties were called early this morning to a report of a burning vehicle in that city.

Officers have since determined it was the same 2017 Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk that homicide investigators had been looking for in connection to the death.

Police say Ngo died of stab wounds on Monday following an altercation outside a townhouse in Surrey.

A second man was also stabbed but is expected to survive.

Police found the second man when they were called to the scene on Monday, and Ngo arrived at hospital some time later but doctors could not save him.
