VANCOUVER — A newly minted B.C. millionaire says he plans to spend his lottery winnings travelling the world and spoiling his wife.

Burnaby resident David O'Brien won $5 million in the May 4 Lotto 6/49 draw.

The win didn't even register when O'Brien saw he had all six numbers but when it did, he yelled, 'Yippee!'

O'Brien says he'd already won life's lotto when he met his wife, and he will spend some of his winnings treating her.
