Body pulled from Fraser River

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 21 Oct, 2024 01:19 PM
  • Body pulled from Fraser River

Police in Richmond are looking for possible witnesses following the death of a woman after she was pulled from the Fraser River.

Mounties say officers received a call of a woman in distress in the river yelling for help on October 3rd.

Rescuers then located an unconscious woman near the Number-2 Road bridge and pulled her from the river with the help of a civilian boat operator.

The woman died despite life-saving efforts, and police are now trying to retrace her movement before she was found in the river.
