Body Of Winnipeg Man Missing Since Last Fall Found, Death Not Criminal: Police

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 13 Aug, 2016 02:09 PM
WINNIPEG — There has been a heartbreaking end to the search for a Winnipeg man with mental health problems who went missing last October.

Winnipeg Police say the body of Reid Bricker has been found.

Investigators say they don't believe his death was related to anything criminal.

More than 100 people including family, friends and strangers combed the city for the 33-year-old when he was reported missing on Oct. 24.

The search focused on the banks of the Red and Assiniboine Rivers and city parks.

Bricker disappeared shortly after he was released from a Winnipeg hospital.
