Body Of Surrey Teen Sachdeep Singh Dhoot Found In Stolen Vehicle's Trunk In East Vancouver

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 19 Jan, 2018 12:07 PM

Vancouver police have identified the victim of the city's latest homicide as a missing teen from Surrey.

Police say the body of 18-year-old Sachdeep Singh Dhoot was found in the trunk of a stolen vehicle yesterday afternoon.

Investigators have confirmed that Dhoot was reported missing in Surrey last week.

They say based on information so far, it does not appear the murder was random.

"Based on the information collected so far, this does not appear to be a random murder," Const. Jason Doucette said. RCMP said they were looking for an older model blue sedan associated with him.
