Body Of Edward Luvuuma, African Childrens' Choir Chaperone, Found In B.C. Pool

The Canadian Press, 01 Jun, 2016 10:01 AM
BURNABY, B.C. — The mysterious disappearance of a chaperone for an African children's choir has been solved by British Columbia's coroners' service.

Thirty-three-year-old Edward Luvuuma of Uganda was travelling through North America in 2015 and was in B.C. last year when he disappeared.

His body was discovered on May 6 by a homeowner who was uncovering the family's outdoor pool for the summer season.

The coroner says Luvuuma is believed to have died close to the time he was reported missing.

The service says there's no evidence the family knew the man.

While the coroners service and the RCMP are investigating the death, they say foul play isn't suspected.
