Police say a body has been found in a vacant lot in East Vancouver.
Constable Tania Visintin says the discovery was made last night by a passerby.
Police remained at the scene through the night and Visintin says no arrests have been made.
It's Vancouver's ninth homicide of 2023.
As it stands, Canadian parents who were born abroad cannot pass their citizenship down to their child unless the child was born in Canada.
