Body Found In Suspected Richmond Drug Lab: RCMP

    RICHMOND, B.C. — RCMP have discovered the body of a missing man at a home in Richmond, B.C., and say the residence was used as a drug lab.


    Police say the man was reported missing three days ago and foul play is not suspected.


    Mounties have secured the location in order to execute a search warrant on the property and say there is no threat to public safety.


    Police say the investigation earlier led them to ask Vancouver police for assistance in checking an apartment that turned out to be uninhabited but showed signs of possible drug production.


    The force's federal team dealing with clandestine laboratories and the BC Coroners Service are also part of the investigation involving the Richmond RCMP's organized crime unit.


    RCMP are calling on anyone with information to contact them.
