Police are still investigating the cause of death of a woman whose body was found at a Kelowna park on Friday.

Mounties say the 28-year-old was found on the shores of Okanagan Lake in Waterfront Park.

Sergeant Judith Bertrand says the Serious Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation.

Bertrand says there is nothing to suggest an increased risk to public safety.

Police and rescue teams hope a window of good weather will help the search for three mountaineers lost since Friday on Mount Garibaldi in British Columbia.
