Surrey RCMP attend a shooting in the Bear Creek area that has sent one person to hospital.
R-C-M-P in Surrey say they're investigating a shooting this morning that sent a man to hospital with series injuries.
The Mounties say it happened in the driveway of a home in a neighbourhood not far from the intersection of 144th Street and 72nd Avenue.
Police say they were notified of a vehicle fire about half an hour after the shooting report and found the vehicle was similar in description to the one seen fleeing the area -- but further investigation is required to potentially link the two incidents.
They say the shooting appears to have been targeted.
