The B-C United Opposition says the N-D-P is failing British Columbians as the cost of living in the province continues to skyrocket.
The opposition says a new report by accounting firm M-N-P shows 52 per cent of British Columbians are just 200 dollars away from insolvency in a province with some of the highest rents and gas prices in North America.
Leader Kevin Falcon says life has never been more expensive in B-C as new taxes along with rising interest rates, mortgage payments, and credit card debt force people to choose between paying their rent or buying food.
