BC traffic stop leads to seizure of firearms and drugs

A B-C woman in her 30s faces numerous charges after a traffic stop outside of Williams Lake lead to the seizure of a loaded firearm and methamphetamines.
R-C-M-P say it happened on August 3rd when officers saw a vehicle speeding along Highway 97.
They say the officer became suspicious while speaking with the driver, which led to a vehicle search.
The Mounties say the driver will appear in court at a later date.
The 14th draw of the country's flagship economic immigration management system on Thursday follows the most recent draw on May 24 in which 4,800 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 488 were invited.

A recent traffic stop led to a drug seizure in Kelowna. R-C-M-P say they were patrolling an area known for drug trafficking on June 2nd when they pulled over a vehicle for a number of traffic violations.
