B.C. Premier Christy Clark Predicts Jim Prentice Win, Calgary Flames Loss

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 15 Apr, 2015 09:05 PM
VICTORIA — B.C. Premier Christy Clark is predicting two things for Alberta in the near future: a Jim Prentice win and a Calgary Flames loss.

Clark says she's made a friendly bet with Prentice over the winner of the Vancouver Canucks/Calgary Flames first-round playoff match.

She says that next month, she expects to see Prentice sitting in the premier's chair in Alberta for another four years and the Canucks in the next round of playoffs heading towards the Stanley Cup.

Clark says she has set aside a case of craft beer for Prentice — on the off chance that the Canucks lose to Calgary.

Prentice hasn't yet said what he would offer if the Canucks douse the flames.

The teams play their first game tonight in Vancouver.
