BC Man Hit In Head With Eggs In Nanaimo, From Passing Truck May Have Concussion

The Canadian Press, 15 Dec, 2014 11:18 AM
NANAIMO, B.C. — Police in Nanaimo, B.C., say a 34-year-old man may have suffered a concussion after being pelted in the head with eggs and a possible rock from a passing truck.

RCMP say the pedestrian was walking to work on Sunday night when he was hit so hard that he was knocked to the ground and had to be treated in hospital.

Const. Gary O'Brien says the vehicle is believed to be an early 1990s two-toned blue truck with side steps.

The culprit is believed to be a male in his late teens or early 20s.

O'Brien says that a similar incident occurred on Saturday night, when a woman reported someone in a black "jacked-up" truck threw eggs at her car.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
