BC Greens to roll out election platform

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 01 Oct, 2024 09:52 AM
  • BC Greens to roll out election platform

The B.C. Green Party is expected to be the first to roll out its complete election platform later today.

Leader Sonia Furstenau is scheduled to hold a news conference in Victoria this morning.

Furstenau's party has already made a series of commitments ahead of the October 19th election, including to establish a network of 93 community health centres.

They say they'll give every B.C. resident six visits per year with a mental health professional under the provincial medical services plan, and they want to maintain a carbon tax while increasing the size of the rebate.
