B-C is facing a number of weather warnings related to heavy snowfall and wintry conditions.
Environment Canada has issued snowfall warnings in Whistler, the North Thompson region and Highway 1 from Sicamous to Golden, with accumulations of up to 20-centimetres expected in some areas.
A travel advisory from B-C's Transportation Ministry says motorists on the Sea to Sky Highway north of Squamish can expect snow and reduced visibility on the drive.
A winter storm warning is also in effect in the North Coast region of B-C around Stewart, and a winter storm watch is in place for two highways linking the Alaska Panhandle to Yukon in the province's northwest.
