B.C. Coroners Service Identifies Motor Vehicle Incident Victim In West Kelowna

    KELOWNA – The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident in West Kelowna on June 12, 2016.
     
    He was Cory Lee Harasivich, aged 36, of West Kelowna.
     
    Mr. Harasivich was the driver and sole occupant of a Jeep Cherokee that was headed northbound on Highway 97 in West Kelowna about 1:30 a.m. on June 12. About 200 metres north of the intersection with Highway 97C, the vehicle hit an abutment and rolled several times. Mr. Harasivich was deceased at the scene.
     
    The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.
     
    Mr. Harasivich’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service requests that the media respect their privacy during this difficult time.
